IM Commissioning: Brian and Lynette Smith

It was a wonderful day as family and friends gathered for the Commissioning Service for Brian and Lynette Smith. It was great seeing pastoral leaders from churches in the Oil Creek and French Creek Associations, staff members from International Ministries, a staff member from the office of the General Secretary and more. The celebration took place at the First Baptist Church of Cambridge Springs where so many members of our American Baptist Church Family gathered for this dedication of a missionary family going to Haiti.

Following their Commissioning as IM Missionaries, Brian and Lynette Smith were given gifts to recognize this important day including a certificate by Rev Paul Vick, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of BIM...  

and two Haitian Bibles, presented by Herb and Bernice Rogers, retired IM Global Servants of Haiti.

Additionally, Brian and Lynette’s Missionary Partnership Team was commissioned to their ministry of encouragement and support
