Camp Judson

Camp Judson
Serving The Lord since 1949

Message from Pastor David White (August 10, 2010):  After a quiet few months, the addition to the manager's house at Camp Judson is underway.  Excavation began and was completed on Monday.  Footers are expected by Tuesday evening with blockwork to follow.  The rapid progress is an answer to prayer.  Please pray for the workers and for favorable prices and delivery scheduling by the materials suppliers.
We will have opportunities for volunteers following completion of the framing which may be completed this month.  Call Kevin at the camp at 814-922-3834 if you want to be part of or you want to form and bring a work crew.  Please provide your area(s) of expertise and dates when you would be available.  For those who want to financially support this project, please send contributions to Camp Judson,  398 Holliday Road, N. Spriingfield, PA  16430 marked Manager's House project.
Please continue your prayerful support of this project as well as for all the details of a busy retreat season.  David White for the Camp Judson Building Committee

Message from Rev. Kevin Saxton (August 12, 2010):    Greetings all!  Above are pictures of the work on the addition taking place this week, including a picture of the most interested party, our son Brennan, who has been thrilled to see an excavator, concrete truck, dump truck, and a tanker truck (bringing a load of water) all in the space of two days this week!

On Monday, Mike O'Brien, a volunteer from West Springfield Baptist who has a campsite at the lake, excavated for the foundation.  On Tuesday, the concrete was poured for the footer, and Wednesday and today the blocklayers are laying block.  Have a great day!  Kevin (Managing Director for Camp Judson
