In Memoriam - Rev. Robert C. Guldenschuh, Jr.

Rev. Robert C “Bob” Guldenschuh, Jr., 70, of Erie, PA passed away unexpectedly Friday February 9, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa. Born July 18, 1953 in Binghamton, New York, he was the son of Rev Robert and Marlene Ann (White) Guldenschuh, Sr.

Rev Guldenschuh received his Masters Degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He became an ordained minister with the American Baptist Churches USA.

He was the current Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Conneaut, previously serving at Wayne Park Baptist Church, Whitesboro Baptist Church, and with Springfield Baptist Church. Bob enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, leatherworking, creative problem solving, and historical reenactments which included hand sewing time period accurate outfits.

Survivors include his parents, Rev. Robert C. Guldenschuh, Sr. and Marlene Ann Guldenschuh, wife Susan, whom he married June 2,1973, children, Johannes Guldenschuh and daughter in law, Jenna Colby of Swissvale, PA, Heather Guldenschuh, Jenifer Burrows both of Erie, PA; grandchildren, Hunter and Angela Guldenschuh, Lori Berger, Mark, Melanie, and Bobby Burrows; brothers, Kenny (Donna) Gulden of Shepherdstown, WV, Billy (Michelle) Gulden of Union, NJ, sisters, Vickie (Cindy) Vescio of Lutz, FL, Linda (Geoffrey) Stamp of Indian Trail, NC, Sandra (Michael) Berrier of Eden, NC and Nancy (Bill) Schierloh of Elmira Heights, NY; brother in laws, Bob (Lou) Gathany of Decatur, IL and Bill (Bonnie) Gathany of Huntsville, AL; several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church at a later date.

Memorial contributions may to made to the family or the First Baptist Church of Conneaut Memorial Fund for upgrading and maintenance of the sound system.
