Leadership Learning Communities

Leadership Learning Communities (LLC) are small, supportive groups of pastors dedicated to fostering strong, healthy relationships—both personally and professionally. These communities play a vital role in advancing our region’s vision of building meaningful partnerships among churches, pastoral leaders, and the wider ABC Family.

Why Join an LLC?

Pastoral leadership comes with unique challenges, and LLCs are designed to address three critical needs among church leaders:

Leadership Development – Ongoing training and support to strengthen your ministry.
Connection & Community – Combating isolation by fostering deep, supportive relationships.
Renewal & Purpose – Addressing loneliness and reaffirming the significance of your calling.

How It Works

Each LLC is guided by a Mentor Pastor, who selects and facilitates a small group of three to six participants. Mentor Pastors are encouraged to identify an apprentice who will eventually lead their own LLC, expanding the impact of this initiative.

Meeting Model

Our Leadership Learning Community (LLC) gatherings are designed to foster meaningful connections, spiritual growth, and professional development. Each meeting follows a structured yet flexible format to maximize engagement and impact:

90 Minutes – Personal & Ministry Updates
A time for each participant to share personal and ministry-related updates, strengthening relationships and mutual support.
30 Minutes – Intentional Prayer
Focused prayer for one another, our ministries, and the broader community.
Lunch Together – Building Community
Enjoy a meal together—whether it’s a sack lunch or a potluck, sharing food strengthens bonds and encourages fellowship.
2 Hours – Discussion & Application
A deep dive into the selected reading, with an emphasis on both personal and professional growth. Discussions are designed to be practical, reflective, and transformational.
